Anushka Singh’s 6 High-Protein Breakfast Options

In a reel titled “6 high-protein breakfasts I ate on repeat to lose 10 kgs”, Anushka shared her daily breakfast routine. Here are the six options she recommends:

  1. Paneer-stuffed tacos
  2. Sprouts and avocado toast
  3. 100 gm paneer with 2 sooji cheela
  4. 1 beetroot cheela with 100 gm raw paneer and cucumber filling
  5. Oatmeal with plant protein powder
  6. Moong dal cheela with chana (chickpeas) and tofu

Why Protein-Rich Breakfasts Matter

Breakfast is one of the most important meals of the day. Including the right nutrients, like protein, folate, calcium, iron, B vitamins, and fibre, can help improve energy levels and cognitive function.

Dietitian Ridhima Khamersa, founder of Ridhima Khamersa Diet Clinic, told HT Lifestyle, “Breakfast is the first meal of the day and extremely important to kickstart metabolism. Eating a well-balanced meal complete in all macros keeps us healthy and energetic for the day.”

Regarding protein, she added, “Including a protein-rich breakfast in the morning keeps your energy levels stable and improves cognitive function. It also helps maintain blood glucose levels, unlike high-carb meals that can cause energy dips.”
