Andhra Pradesh is ready to change the game for India’s digital world. The state is launching Creator Land, India’s first transmedia entertainment city. It’s not just a name; it’s a dream project that promises real jobs, global fame, and a creative future for young Indians. Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu announced this on May 4th at the WAVES Summit in Mumbai, where the Andhra Pradesh government signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to begin the journey of this massive initiative.
What is Creator Land?
Creator Land is a special place being built in Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh’s capital region. But it’s not just a city with fancy buildings, it’s a transmedia city, which means it will bring together all forms of creative work: films, music, gaming, virtual production, digital storytelling, and even AI-powered content. The goal is simple but powerful: “Create in AP, Create for the World.”
Jobs, Investment, and a Bright Future
This project will create 25,000 new jobs in the next few years. That’s not all, it will also attract Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) worth Rs 10,000 crore over the next six years.
These are not just numbers. This means actual jobs for creators, editors, musicians, developers, animators, storytellers, and young people with big ideas and digital dreams.

The Creator Land Academy: Learn and Grow
A major part of the project is the Creator Land Academy, which will train the youth in high-tech, futuristic skills. Here’s what young creators can learn:
- AI-powered content creation
- Gaming and virtual production
- Music and filmmaking
- Digital storytelling and more
This means that students in Andhra won’t need to move to Mumbai, Bengaluru, or abroad to pursue their creative careers. The best training will now be in their backyard.
A Global Vision with Local Talent
CM Chandra Babu Naidu said this is more than a development project, it’s a moment of pride for Andhra Pradesh. Creator Land will connect local talent with global platforms. With strong international partnerships and state-of-the-art infrastructure, the world will see what Andhra’s youth can do. This is not just about jobs or buildings. It’s about making Andhra Pradesh a cultural and digital powerhouse, combining technology with India’s rich storytelling tradition.

- Training in the latest digital tools
- Networking with global creative companies
- A platform to share your work with the world
India’s Big Leap for Internet Creators
CM Naidu believes Amaravati will soon become a world-class destination for innovation, employment, and digital growth. If everything goes as planned, Creator Land won’t just be a place; it will be the future of entertainment in India.
With this bold step, Andhra Pradesh tells the world: “We’re not just watching the future. We’re building it”
