MrBeast is back in India. And this time, there is no obvious product launch attached to the visit. Jimmy Donaldson, better known as MrBeast, was spotted at the Taj Mahal in Agra with his wife, Thea, on Thursday. Videos from the visit quickly spread online, showing the couple waving to fans and being escorted through the crowded monument. So far, there is no official confirmation of the purpose of his latest India trip. But there is plenty happening around him that makes the visit interesting.
This isn’t MrBeast’s first India trip
MrBeast previously came to India in November 2024 for the launch of Feastables, his chocolate and snack brand. He arrived in Mumbai alongside Logan Paul and KSI, who were promoting Prime.
The visit turned into a major creator event, with huge crowds gathering in Mumbai. MrBeast also met Indian creators, including CarryMinati.
At the time, the India visit had a clear commercial purpose.
This time, it is less obvious.
So why is he back?
One major clue is Beast Games.
CarryMinati has become part of Beast Games Season 2, with MrBeast specifically highlighting regional creators as part of the show’s international strategy. In January, MrBeast spoke to NDTV about Indian creators including CarryMinati and Fukra Insaan.
MrBeast later explained that Beast Games was being adapted for different markets. The Indian version gives CarryMinati a much larger presence, while other creators represent other regions.
That means India is not simply another market where the show is being promoted.
It is being built into the content itself.
And CarryMinati’s association with the show has already produced another big crossover. In May 2026, he and MrBeast recreated the viral Modi-Meloni “Melodi” moment, giving Indian audiences another very local MrBeast appearance.
And now, more Indian creators are around him
The latest images circulating online show MrBeast alongside CarryMinati, Payal Gaming and Mythpat, with Thea and Nolan Hansen also appearing in the group.
That matters because the picture looks less like a conventional celebrity visit and more like a creator gathering.
There has also been continued interest around MrBeast and Fukra Insaan. Abhishek Malhan attended the Beast Games Season 2 screening in Los Angeles, while MrBeast has previously spoken about Indian creators and potential collaborations.
So, even without an announcement explaining the current trip, there is already a clear India-facing creator network around MrBeast.
Then there is the Taj Mahal
The Agra visit adds another layer.
MrBeast and Thea were seen visiting the Taj Mahal, interacting with fans and taking in one of India’s most recognisable landmarks. The visit appears to have been personal or recreational, but the reason for the wider India trip remains unclear.
And that is probably why the internet is asking the obvious question:
What is MrBeast actually doing in India this time?
There is no confirmed answer yet.
But his recent activity gives us a few clues. His Indian audience is enormous. He has already brought Indian creators into Beast Games, worked directly with CarryMinati and discussed Indian creators such as Fukra Insaan. And now he is physically back in the country, meeting more creators and travelling beyond Mumbai.
In 2024, MrBeast came to India to launch a product.
In 2026, India itself appears to be becoming part of his creator strategy.
Whether this trip leads to another major collaboration, a new Beast Games project, a brand expansion or simply a personal visit is still unclear.
For now, the Taj Mahal videos and the creator meet-ups have done what MrBeast’s appearances usually do: they have got everyone asking what comes next.
