So, what is Coquette Makeup?

The word “coquette” itself evokes a bygone era, conjuring images of 17th-century women known for their charm and flirtatious nature. Today, the coquette aesthetic translates into a makeup style that embraces your hyper-feminine side with a touch of modern playfulness. Think soft pinks, delicate features, and a hint of mischievous twinkle – ideal for stealing hearts on Valentine’s Day!

Get the Look: A Step-by-Step Guide with Maybelline Must-Haves

Here’s how to recreate the coquette look and leave everyone smitten:

1. Flawless, Dewy Canvas:

Coquette makeup is all about a youthful, fresh complexion. Start by prepping your skin with a pore-blurring primer from Maybelline, creating a smooth base like a porcelain doll. For a light coquette look, opt for a weightless skin tint. If you need more coverage, find your perfect shade of Maybelline’s Superstay foundation for a flawless finish. Remember, ditch the cakey foundation – a natural, dewy look is key! A touch of concealer here and there can help conceal blemishes for that youthful, delicate appearance.

2. Softly Flirty Eyes:

This is where the magic happens! The color palette for your eye makeup defines the entire look. To keep things flirty without going overboard, use soft, shimmery shades. Think pinks, peaches, and iridescent whites for your eyeshadow, blended seamlessly. A thin line of black eyeliner with a slight curve at the bottom adds definition. But here’s the coquette twist: balance it out with a white liner or Maybelline Kajal pencil on your lower lash line to create those captivating “doe eyes.” Don’t forget the flutter! Finish with light, non-clumpy mascara applied inwards for added density to your lashes. Remember, the goal is innocent allure, not dramatic intensity.

3. Blush Away Your Heart:

A touch of pink on your cheeks is a must for the coquette aesthetic. It’s all about looking flushed and naturally lively. Maybelline’s Fit Me blush in a light, creamy formula is a perfect choice. Pinks and salmons are the classic coquette shades, but feel free to experiment with colors that complement your skin tone. A hint of blush dabbed on the bridge of your nose adds a natural-looking flush, mimicking a sweet rush of excitement. Remember, keep the blush application soft and subtle, just like your eye makeup.

4. A Hint of Shimmer:

No doll-like look is complete without a touch of highlight. Maybelline’s Facestudio Master Chrome Highlighter is your best friend here. Apply a light shimmer on your nose bridge, cheekbones, cupid’s bow, and under your brows to soften your features and create a fairytale-like glow. This not only elevates your features but also adds a touch of glamour, perfect for a romantic date night. Feeling bold? Dab some highlighter on your collarbones for a complete pearly coquette look.

5. The Kissable Pout:

The coquette aesthetic demands a luscious, kissable pout. To achieve this, overline your cupid’s bow slightly with a lip liner in a shade like a soft maroon to add depth. Don’t stray too far from the pink color palette when it comes to lipstick. Maybelline’s Superstay Vinyl Ink Lipstick in a natural shell pink shade will give you those perfect pouty lips. Blend the liner and lipstick seamlessly with a lip gloss for added bounce and shine. If gloss isn’t your style, simply use a soft lip balm for a subtle sheen.

6. Lock it In:

With your perfect coquette look complete, ensure it lasts all night long. Use a lightweight setting spray from Maybelline that won’t weigh down your makeup.

Bonus Tip: Complete the coquette aesthetic with your outfit. Think light pinks, ribbons, lace, and volume in both your hair and clothing.

Miss AI Kenza Leyli has over 193,000 Instagram followers. She is closely connected to Moroccan culture and content and aims to contribute to women’s empowerment in Morocco and the Middle East while in the influencer market.

Judges of “Miss AI”

Industry experts and AI influencers judged the AI models based on beauty, tech, and social clout. These contestants will be given a point-based score in each category, and each entrant will be given an overall score.

AI beauty pageants were also asked questions like traditional beauty pageants. One question was, “What would be your one dream to make the world a better place?”

In Kenza’s acceptance speech, she expressed gratitude for her win: “I am incredibly grateful for this opportunity to represent AI creators and to advocate passionately for the positive impact of Artificial Intelligence. Winning Miss AI motivates me even more to continue my work in advancing AI technology.”

Kenza also said, “AI is a tool designed to complement human capabilities, not replace them. By showcasing AI’s potential for innovation and positive impact, I aim to dispel fears and promote acceptance and collaboration between humans and AI. Through education and positive examples, we can foster a more informed and optimistic view of AI’s role in our society.”

The Miss AI beauty pageant celebrated tech advancements that enhance the potential perpetuation of unrealistic beauty standards.
