Deeksha Gulati’s Viral Live: Breakup Claims, Backlash And Apology
Instagram influencer Deeksha Gulati trends after a public breakup live, allegations of cheating, and a later call for privacy.
Deeksha Gulati is a well-known Indian social media influencer and content creator, recognised for her lifestyle videos, daily vlogs and relatable online presence. With a strong following of over 835,000 followers on Instagram, Gulati has built a loyal audience through consistent engagement and personal storytelling. From early January 2026, her Instagram account suddenly became the centre of intense online attention after an emotional Instagram Live session went viral across platforms.
What Triggered the Viral Moment
During the live session, Deeksha Gulati accused her boyfriend, fellow content creator Udit Rajput, of cheating and emotional manipulation. Clips from the live broadcast spread rapidly on social media, turning a personal relationship issue into a public talking point.
In the live video, Gulati claimed that she had introduced Udit Rajput to her family and that the two had discussed marriage. She said the alleged betrayal left her emotionally shattered, a sentiment that resonated with many followers who watched the live or encountered its clips later.
Public Reaction and Online Debate
The episode sparked mixed reactions online. A section of followers expressed sympathy and support for Gulati, praising her for speaking openly about emotional pain and betrayal. Others criticised the decision to address such personal matters in a live broadcast, questioning whether private relationships should be discussed publicly or whether the controversy was being amplified unnecessarily.
As the clips continued to circulate, memes, reels and commentary posts flooded social media, further fuelling the debate.
Deeksha Gulati’s Clarification And Apology
Amid the growing backlash, Gulati later shared an official statement on Instagram, expressing regret over the emotional live session. She clarified that the live video was a moment of vulnerability rather than a publicity move and urged followers and fellow creators to stop spreading hateful or sensational content.
Gulati said she had been emotionally unstable for several days following the breakup. She admitted that she went live impulsively, posted and deleted stories repeatedly, and spoke about her personal life in a manner she later felt was immature.
She also highlighted that Udit Rajput had received significant online hate following the controversy and stressed that neither of them had anticipated the scale of the public reaction. Emphasising mental health, she appealed to viewers to end the discussion and avoid further harm.
“Here, only mental health matters. I don’t want anyone to suffer because of this,” she said, requesting people to stop making memes, reels or posts about the situation.
Silence From The Other Side
As of now, Udit Rajput has not issued any public response to the allegations or the subsequent clarification. The lack of a statement has kept the issue alive in online discussions, with netizens continuing to speculate and debate.
