The Impact Digital Influencer Awards for 2023, held in Mumbai, witnessed the crowning of the funniest influencers in India. Among the winners were Kings of Comedy, Funcho and Yuvraj Dua, while the runner-up position was secured by Ronit Ashra. These hilarious individuals have managed to captivate audiences and provide endless laughter throughout the past year. Let’s take a closer look at these top comic influencers in India:
Funcho (Dhruv Shah & Shyam Sharma)
Dhruv Shah and Shyam Sharma, the creative minds behind Funcho, crossed paths during their engineering days and began creating content for fun. After receiving an encouraging response to their content, they launched Funcho as a YouTube channel in 2017.
Funcho has been the brand ambassador for Mumbai Indians for two consecutive years. With over 3.5 million subscribers and more than 200 uploads on YouTube, Funcho’s channel is exploding with funny, witty, and crazy videos. Most of their content is inspired by real-life scenarios, expertly crafted to induce fits of laughter.
Yuvraj Dua
Yuvraj Dua, a former sports journalist, kickstarted his comedic journey during the pandemic by reviving a dormant meme page he had created in school. Known for his comedy content on Instagram, Dua has also coached Ranveer Singh on his Punjabi accent in the film “Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani” and worked out with him.
Yuvraj’s YouTube channel, active since 2013 but focused on from June 2020, exhibits a variety of content including short comedy videos, travel vlogs, and family-related content. His impeccable comic timing and ability to put a quirky twist on viral Instagram trends make his reels straight-up hilarious. Yuvraj’s catchphrase, “Chatakkk,” has become synonymous with his brand, further enhancing his reach and recall value.

His spoof videos on Ananya Pandey and Kokila Ben, which were further mixed and featured by Yashraj Mukhate, went viral with over 7 million views per video.
Ronit’s spot-on impressions and his portrayal of unique characters have established him as a standout comedian in the digital realm. He was also featured in a digital campaign for Set Wet, Marico’s male grooming and hairstyling brand, where he replayed key moments with his signature comic flair.
