Following her win, Kirti launched Sugar Plum Cakery, a bespoke dessert studio in Kolkata specialising in custom cakes and pastries. Her bakery quickly gained a reputation for its unique flavours and artistic designs. Beyond her entrepreneurial endeavours, Kirti has been prominent at numerous talk shows, cooking events, and culinary workshops across India. She has honed her craft under the mentorship of acclaimed Chef Atul Kochhar at his renowned restaurants in Mumbai and Dubai, including the popular Farzi Café.

Born and raised in Kolkata, the 29-year-old chef pursued her education at J.D. Birla Institute, where she studied Nutrition and Dietetics. This academic background complements her culinary expertise, allowing her to blend nutritional knowledge with her baking skills. Additionally, Kirti received formal training in baking and patisserie, which helped her refine her techniques and expand her repertoire.
