Vet Content Creators of India You Should Follow This World Veterinary Day

When we think of doctors, we often picture stethoscopes, hospitals, and patients in white sheets. But what about the doctors who treat those who can’t speak? Veterinarians are the unsung heroes who dedicate their lives to healing animals, whether it’s your pet dog at home, a cow on the farm, or a stray puppy in pain. In India, the role of veterinarians goes beyond clinics and pet hospitals. With the rise of social media, a new wave of veterinary influencers and vet content creators has emerged. These professionals not only treat and rescue animals but also educate the public through platforms like YouTube and Instagram.

On the occasion of World Veterinary Day 2025, let’s meet some of the most dedicated and compassionate vets in India. These are those who heal, teach, and influence with nothing but kindness and a camera.

Nidhi Tiwari – Bilaspur’s Angel for Abandoned Animals

Some people rescue animals. And then there’s Nidhi Tiwari, who makes her three-storeyed house and farmland in Kududand, Bilaspur, a full-time shelter for sick, injured, and abandoned animals. Others scroll past on the road, limping dogs, injured goats, and dying cows, but Nidhi stops, rescues, and treats them like family.

Whether it’s an animal left to die after an accident or one abandoned after falling sick, Nidhi takes them in without a second thought. She’s even rescued a goat that was about to be sacrificed at a temple with help from none other than Maneka Gandhi after the local police refused to act.

Her monthly spend on treatment ranges from INR 3,000 to INR 25,000 per animal, and the overall cost touches INR 1.5 to INR 2 lakh per month, which she manages through donations via her Instagram page and income from her family’s agricultural land.

Nidhi’s family, especially her father and brother, supports her fully. They arrange different foods for different animals: fruits for monkeys, pedigree for dogs, husks for donkeys, and more. From goats to cows, they’re all part of the family now. For Nidhi, animals are not lesser beings. As her grandmother once told her in a childhood story, humans were gifted hands and brains to protect animals. And Nidhi has taken that to heart.

CowsBlike – Where Cows Are Celebrities

It’s not a farm, it’s a family. On the Instagram page @cowsblike, you’ll meet Vrinda and Prithu, two cows with more personality than most humans. This page is a full-time diary of their lives: from playful eating sessions to bath time mischief to AI-generated fun posts that imagine the cows having conversations. The tone? Light-hearted, loving, and deeply respectful.

The content creators behind CowsBlike treat these cows like their kids. The videos are filled with joyful visuals and emotional narration, reminding everyone that even cows have moods, quirks, and favourite foods. If you’ve ever thought cows are just silent grass-eaters, wait till you see Vrinda dodging her bath like a toddler.

Dr. Ravikiran – The Vet Who Turned YouTube Into a Veterinary Textbook

Want to know how to treat a cow’s indigestion or help a dog after an accident or feed a thirsty and injured bird? Dr Ravikiran has already explained it on YouTube.

With over 113K subscribers, Dr Ravikiran is not just an influencer, he’s a digital professor of veterinary science. His channel is a video book of live treatments, subject-wise explanations, and practical knowledge for fellow vets, pet owners, and animal lovers. His content is mainly in Telugu, but he also shares some videos in English. He is a regional creator who connects with local audiences through his language and easy explanations.

As per Qoruz, he is ranked 67th among the top veterinary influencers in India. His content focuses on regional language learning so that more people from all corners of India can understand and implement the advice. He’s not about fame but real-time learning that helps save lives. Don’t forget to follow him on World Veterinary Day 2025.

Dr Vibha Tomar – Healing Stray Dogs During COVID and Beyond

Some people wait for things to get better. Others, like Dr Vibha Tomar, step up when things are at their worst. A veterinary student turned into a street animal rescuer, and Vibha couldn’t bear to see stray dogs starving during the COVID lockdown. When cities shut down, and restaurant leftovers vanished, street animals had nothing. Vibha decided to take charge. With her own savings and whatever she could gather, she fed and treated the dogs in her area.

She runs the Oscar For Life Rehab Centre for Street Animals & Pet Clinic, where street animals find both medical help and love. Vibha sees being a vet not just as a job, but as a moral duty. “I love animals since childhood,” she says, “and it’s my responsibility to help them.”

Dr Hansika Singh – Vet with a Mission and a Camera

Based in Delhi, Dr Hansika Singh is a practising vet, content creator, and founder of Vet Visit Pet Clinic. Her Instagram and YouTube pages are a gentle blend of medical expertise, animal love, and real-life insights from her daily practice.

She’s not just posting cute videos, Hansika uses her platforms to educate pet parents, raise awareness on animal welfare, and show what ethical vet care looks like. Whether it’s an emergency surgery or simple pet care tips, her followers see it all, real and raw. Behind every video is a woman who genuinely cares and it shows.
