Anurag Dobhal Says He Is Facing Mental Harassment: Shares Concerning Note With Followers

What Did Anurag Dobhal Say About Mental Harassment?

Motovlogger and influencer Anurag Dobhal recently alleged on Instagram that he has been mentally harassed by certain people (unclear who) for over a year, claiming they took away his family support, finances, and relationships, and that he is now being followed by individuals he believes are attempting a planned attack on him. In a message posted on the ‘stories’ section of his official Instagram account, Dobhal expressed distress about the situation and said he had tried to manage the circumstances but now felt unable to continue enduring the pressure.

Dobhal told his followers in the Instagram Story that he had been “tortured by my very own people to such an extent that zeeney layak nai chorda,” adding that he fought the situation as best as he could but now believed the same individuals had begun following him.

He further alleged that the situation had escalated to what he described as an attempt at a “planned death attack.”

In another part of the post, Dobhal wrote that he could no longer suffer mentally and promised that he would reveal the identities and reality of those responsible.

The message ended with him stating that he had endured as much as he could but now could not continue to tolerate the situation.

At the time of writing, the claims remain Dobhal’s own statements shared through social media. No independent confirmation regarding the allegations has been publicly reported.

A Period of Silence That Worried Followers

Dobhal’s post comes after a noticeable absence from both YouTube and social media in the month of February. His followers had observed that he had not uploaded content for the entire month.

Even before that, his vlogs and posts had become inconsistent, prompting speculation among fans about his well-being.

The recent message is the first time he has publicly spoken about the situation in detail.

Who Is Anurag Dobhal?

Anurag Dobhal, widely recognised online as UK07 Rider, is a motovlogger and social media influencer from Bhaniyawala in Dehradun, Uttarakhand.

Born on 18 September 1998, he grew up in a lower-middle-class family where financial resources were limited. His father, Jagdamba Prasad Dobhal, worked as a mathematics teacher, earning approximately Rs. 1200 per month during the early years of Anurag’s childhood.

According to accounts of his early life, around Rs. 800 from that monthly income went towards medical expenses because Dobhal had been diagnosed with a brain tumour at the age of six. After undergoing treatment, he recovered, although he also dealt with asthma during childhood.

His father later received the State-Level Best Teacher Award in 2009 and the President’s Award in 2010 for his work in education.

Education and Early Work

Dobhal studied at Shri Guru Ram Rai Public School in Bhaniyawala and later attended D.A.V. College, Dehradun.

His academic journey included:

  • B.Com
  • M.A. in Economics
  • B.Ed

During his student years, he worked as a private tutor, charging around Rs. 300 per student each month. He also worked as a part-time teacher at a local school, teaching subjects such as Economics, Accounts and Business Studies.

This phase helped him save money for one of his early goals: buying a motorcycle.

The Beginning of the MotoVlogging Journey

In 2018, Dobhal bought his first bike, a KTM RC 200, and began creating motorcycle vlogs.

Before that purchase, he had saved around Rs. 4–5 lakh and hoped to buy a Kawasaki bike worth around Rs. 9 lakh. To help him achieve this, his father reportedly took a loan of Rs. 5 lakh.

Dobhal named that motorcycle Echo.

His early videos documented long rides, road journeys and motorcycle culture. Over time, the channel built a strong following, particularly among young biking enthusiasts.

He also became known for visiting the Kartarpur Corridor in Pakistan, becoming one of the first motor vloggers to document that journey.

The Pandemic: A Turning Point

When the COVID-19 pandemic struck in 2020 and India entered lockdown, Dobhal lost his job as a teacher.

That moment pushed him to become a full-time YouTuber.

What began as occasional uploads eventually turned into a consistent content schedule. Earlier, while balancing studies and work, he had uploaded only three vlogs per month. After shifting to full-time content creation, he increased that to around three vlogs per week.

His channel, The UK07 Rider, eventually crossed millions of subscribers and earned the YouTube Silver and Gold Play Buttons.

Personal Life: Marriage and Relationships

Dobhal got engaged to video creator Ritika Chauhan on 5 March 2025, sharing pictures from the ceremony with the caption “Forever Together.”

The couple later married on 29 April 2025.

Earlier, he had been in a relationship with Nepali moto vlogger Savya KC between 2020 and 2021. The relationship ended after a public controversy in which Savya accused him of cheating and misleading her.

Dobhal later released a video presenting his version of events, stating that facts had been manipulated and that his parents had been verbally abused during the controversy.

Controversies and Reality TV

Anurag Dobhal entered mainstream television when he participated in Bigg Boss Season 17 in 2023.

During the show, he accused the programme of favouring certain contestants, including Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain.

The show’s producers responded by stating that the format allowed favouritism, revealing that Dobhal had requested to willingly join the show rather than audition for it.

Dobhal eventually decided to leave the show mid-season, reportedly agreeing to pay a Rs. 2 crore penalty.

In January 2024, he also uploaded a YouTube video titled “Big Boss 17 And Salman Khan Exposed – The Untold Truth.” In the video, he alleged that he had been isolated in a hotel after eviction and not allowed to contact his family for two days, which he said led to severe emotional distress.

Life Beyond Content

Dobhal is known among followers for his biking community, which he calls “Brosena” and “Sistersena.”

He frequently organises rides and trips with fans, including journeys to religious destinations like Haridwar.

Anurag Dobhal is an ardent devotee of Lord Hanuman and has visited places such as Haridwar and Rishikesh during difficult personal periods.

Dobhal also participates in charity activities. Reports mention donations to orphanages and acts such as gifting an e-rickshaw to a woman so she could support her family financially.

Anurag Dobhal also said he would eventually reveal the people responsible for putting him in that position.

As of now, the allegations remain Dobhal’s personal claims shared via social media.
