Meghranjani Arya Das is a content creator and influencer known for engaging videos on fashion, comedy, personal stories, and beauty tips. Like many in the digital space, she faces the challenge of staying relevant in a rapidly evolving landscape. However, before amassing a fan following of over 1 million on Instagram, Meghranjani had to overcome significant personal struggles to prove her worth and establish her identity.

No support from family, going into depression and attempting suicide

Raised in a joint family in Assam, Meghranjani’s journey was far from easy. Her parents, who came from a working-class background, had traditional aspirations for her to be well-educated and secure a stable career. However, Meghranjani had different dreams—she wanted to break free from the conventional path, dress up, wear heels, and pursue a career in modelling. Unfortunately, her parents never understood her aspirations, often comparing her to her cousins. At home and in school, she was bullied and ridiculed for her looks, which led her to skip classes and isolate herself for days. The mental strain was intense, leading her into depression, and at her lowest points, she even attempted suicide multiple times.

Things changed for the better during the lockdown.

During the lockdown in 2020, things took a turn for the better. Isolated and with social media as her only outlet, Meghranjani began creating content. Managing everything herself—from ideation to editing- was no easy feat, and her early videos received minimal views. Despite the lack of immediate success, she persisted, often in tears, before shooting each video. By December 2023, her efforts began to pay off as her content started gaining traction. However, the continued loneliness and negativity around her pushed her to attempt suicide again. Thankfully, she survived.

Shortly thereafter, Meghranjani received her first paycheck from YouTube, which felt like a sign that brighter days were ahead. This milestone gave her the hope and motivation she needed, and she embraced her true self. Her content started going viral, marking the beginning of her upward journey.

Now, Megharanjani is fulfilling all her dreams!

Now, she’s unstoppable! She launched her own YouTube channel, and the earnings from her first video marked a significant moment in her life. Despite trolling and negative comments, she focused on positive feedback, which fueled her determination.

Today, Meghranjani is in a much better place both mentally and financially. She is preparing to move to Delhi to pursue her dream of becoming a model, with aspirations of walking the Cannes Red Carpet one day. She credits her audience as her greatest support system, helping her overcome her fears and encouraging her to keep going.
