Instagram’s Latest Upgrade: Custom AI Stickers, Filters, and More!

Instagram is stepping up its game with a bunch of exciting new features for users and creators. 

The highlight? Custom stickers created with AI magic! Thanks to Meta’s Segment Anything AI model, users can now cut out objects from their photos or videos and turn them into custom stickers for Reels and Stories. This takes personalization to a whole new level.

That’s not all. Instagram is bringing back some nostalgia with new photo filters for Posts, offering both subtle colour edits and more expressive styles. It’s a throwback to the Instagram era that first captivated users with creative filters.

And for the creators out there, Instagram has introduced handy tools like “undo” and “redo” for Reels, making the editing process smoother. There’s also a Media Clip hub for adding audio clips to Reels, perfect for creating memes. Plus, you can now scale, crop, and rotate individual clips with ease.

But wait, there’s more! Instagram has added 10 new English text-to-speech voices, six text fonts and styles, and support for outlines. The platform is making it easier for creators to track metrics with a new Reels metric called “Replays,” combining it with “Initial Plays” for a comprehensive view of engagement.
