After Viral Clip, Balraj Ghai Clarifies India’s Got Latent 2 Release Rumours

Did Balraj Ghai Accidentally Reveal India’s Got Latent Season 2 Release Date After Samay Raina’s Comeback Announcement?

A viral clip that led fans to believe Balraj Ghai had accidentally leaked the release date of India’s Got Latent Season 2, the comedian has now stepped forward to clear the air. According to Balraj, the date mentioned in the clip was not related to the return of Samay Raina’s controversial comedy talent show, but to an online sale campaign instead.

Ever since Samay Raina confirmed that India’s Got Latent would return for a brand-new season during his viral Still Alive video, anticipation around the show has continued to grow online. Fans have been closely tracking every update surrounding the comeback, making even the smallest hints go viral within minutes.

Did Balraj Ghai Leak India’s Got Latent Season 2 Release Date?

A clip featuring Balraj Ghai began circulating widely across social media platforms. In the video, Balraj appears to be speaking during a podcast conversation and says:

“I am so happy that everything is falling back into place. Sab sahi jaa raha hai finally. And ab bas main May 9 ke liye ruka hoon, second season drop hoga aur phir uske baad duniya bhaai jo…”

The clip abruptly cuts off mid-sentence, which immediately triggered speculation among fans that he had revealed the release date for India’s Got Latent Season 2.

What did Balraj Ghai Respond to After The Clip Goes Viral?

In the clarification video, Balraj acknowledged that the clip had spread rapidly online and admitted that it was originally not meant to be posted publicly. However, he clarified that viewers had misunderstood the context behind his statement.

He explained that the “Season 2” he referred to was actually connected to “Flipkart Sasa Lele Season 2”, a promotional online sale campaign, and not India’s Got Latent.

Balraj said:

“Hello everyone, one of my clips has been going viral recently… Since it went viral, my phone has not stopped ringing. It was a leak. It wasn’t meant to go out. So before anyone thinks anything else, the date I mentioned about Season 2 is about “Flipkart Sasa Lele Season 2.”

He ended the clarification with humour, joking:

“And one more thing – can only Samay do brand deals?”

When Will Samay Raina Announce India’s Got Latent Season 2 Release Date?

Despite Balraj’s clarification, excitement around India’s Got Latent continues to remain high online. Since Samay Raina officially confirmed the return of the show, fans have been eagerly waiting for an official release date announcement.

The show became one of India’s most talked-about creator-led comedy formats, with clips regularly going viral across social media. Its edgy humour, unpredictable guests, and creator-driven format helped it build a massive cult audience online.

For now, however, viewers may have to wait a little longer for an official confirmation from Samay Raina himself regarding when India’s Got Latent Season 2 will finally premiere.
