Social media influencer, content creator, and LGBTQIA+ advocate Nikhil Jain is set to represent India at Mr Gay World 2025, which will be held on December 1, 2025, in Quezon City, Philippines. He publicly came out as gay on his Instagram channel @nikhilgoal, a turning point that reshaped his personal and professional life.

From Davangere to a Global Platform

Born and raised in Davangere, Karnataka, Nikhil Jain’s journey from a conservative Jain household to an international platform reflects his commitment to visibility, acceptance and meaningful change. Coming from a traditional family, the process required difficult conversations, patience and emotional strength. Over time, his family embraced his identity and today, they proudly support his work as an advocate for LGBTQIA+ inclusion in India.

I want to use my voice not only to inspire the youth to embrace their identity with pride, but also to help parents understand the importance of acceptance. If my journey can give even one person the courage to be themselves or help one parent stand by their child, then every step becomes meaningful, and we move closer to a kinder, more inclusive future.”

On the professional front, Nikhil is a qualified Chartered Accountant with over a decade of experience in auditing, corporate accounting, and financial reporting. He started his career as an auditor at PwC, conducting statutory audits across industries, before transitioning into corporate finance roles, where he specialised in financial reporting and strategy at global firms like GE and Danaher.
