The tragic death of content creator Aanvi Kamdar while filming a social media post has prompted swift action from the Maharashtra government, led by Shri Eknath Shinde. In response to this unfortunate event, Rahul N Kanal, the newly appointed Social Media In-Charge, has introduced a series of significant measures aimed at safeguarding the well-being of influencers and photographers.

One of the key initiatives proposed by Rahul N Kanal is the official recognition of social media influencers by the Government of Maharashtra. He suggests issuing government-sanctioned ID cards to influencers and paparazzi, acknowledging their contributions to the digital landscape and ensuring they are properly identified. This move is expected to provide influencers with a formal status while enhancing their safety during content creation. In addition to the ID cards, Rahul has streamlined the process for obtaining shooting permissions, particularly for influencers promoting the scenic beauty and cultural heritage of Maharashtra.

This initiative aims to make content creation easier and safer, while also encouraging the responsible portrayal of the state’s attractions.

These proposals are just the beginning of what Rahul N Kanal, as the Social Media In-Charge of the Shiv Sena Party, has planned for the social media community. More supportive measures are anticipated in the near future to further protect and empower influencers.

Take a look at the letter mentioning all the important changes, and new implementations to prevent any mishap.
