Lakme Fashion Week 2024: Sakshi Sindhwani & Creators Who Brought Their A-Game!

In the last 25 years, Lakme Fashion Week has firmly established itself as a massive annual event that serves as a platform for budding talent across design, brand, modelling & all things fashion. This year was no different. 

The 5 days at Lakme Fashion Week were filled with shows that were attended by fashion lovers and our favorite Reel Stars who gave us access to what’s happening both on the ramp & behind the scenes via their content. 

Here are some creators who made heads turn both on & off the ramp at Lakme Fashion Week 2024:

SAKSHI SINDWANI – THE PERFECT MUSE

Dressed in a quintessential Gauri & Nainika number, Sakshi was the perfect muse. Everyone being true to their aesthetics resulted in this look on Sakshi was the best opening to their show. 

Sakshi thanks the designer duo for being inclusive, we too applaud them & hope to see many more designers & brands to join the league.

Sakshi had earlier worn a custom Gauri & Nainika gown for the rehearsal dinner party before her wedding festivities began.

UNNATI MALHARKAR – ELEGANCE PERSONIFIED

Wait WHAT??? Is it a jumpsuit, or is it a gown? Well, we can’t say but what we sure can is that this girl just knocked it off the ramp with her confident walk & happiest smile.

This outfit by luxury lifestyle brand Geisha Designs is a perfect blend of chic & elegance. We love the keyhole design in the front & the exaggerated bow at the back making it a statement contemporary piece.

SANKET MEHTA – SANKSTAR

If there is someone who puts style on the street literally & effortlessly that has to be Sanket.

The brand AYCS (All You Can Street) dressed Sanket in this absolutely rad number, showcasing its prowess to combine amazing texture play & making it stylishly wearable.

The oversized flap illusion denim is a quirky twist just right for the bottom combined with a puffed crop top. Sanket rocked this ensemble with the attitude that matched the vibe spot-on.

Cheering him on, his friends called him SANKSTAR & we couldn’t agree more, he was an absolute star in this one.

RIYA JAIN – THE FASHION CHAMELEON

This time she was not on the ramp but that did not stop her from being the absolute showstopper. Attending multiple shows during the week, Riya sat front row, dressed in outfits that show exactly why she’ll always be among the OG TOP Fashion Influencers of India.

Riya like a chameleon, changed her looks each time she stepped in to attend the shows. Each looks distinct from the previous one, and Riya carried them all with an ease that is natural to her. Be it the Silver Outfit by ITRH that made her shine like a diamond, or the Jacket Dress by Shahin Mannan that could take on Harley Quinn any day.

From statement pieces displaying impeccable craftsmanship to stand out streetstyle. This premier fashion & lifestyle event was filled with everything it is known and credited for. The designers brought their A-Game with twists that showcased their individuality via their collections. Rahul Mishra who has been making the loudest noise globally for his unique designs and collections closed this prestigious event on 17th March’24.

We can’t wait for the Winter-Fashion edition of the Lakme Fashion Week that will happen during the second half of the year & how our Reel Stars will push boundaries even further.
