From CA to Content Game: Sakshi Jain’s Journey to Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia
Read the story of Sakshi Jain, who was once a curious girl from Ranchi who followed the tough CA route, only to discover her true calling in content creation, now on the Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia list.

Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia. A line that many dream of. A list that feels like a distant goal. But for Sakshi Jain, this dream became a reality. What started as simple LinkedIn posts and Instagram reels has become a massive platform that simplifies money matters for thousands, in the Gen Z style. And today, she proudly finds herself on one of the most prestigious lists in Asia. This is not just her win, it belongs to every creator, every dreamer, and every girl trying to build her table, she says.
A Sweet Celebration with Loved Ones
Sakshi Jain celebrated the Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia moment with her family and close friends at home. They cut a cake, shared happy tears, and remembered her journey. Her parents were proud, her friends cheered, and the room was filled with love, laughter, and lots of smiles.
Where It All Began: A CA Dream in Ranchi
Sakshi Jain grew up in Ranchi, a small city with big dreams. Her path was clear from the start; her father, always firm on the power of a “CA signature,” guided her towards Chartered Accountancy soon after Class 12.
She cleared the CA Foundation in November 2018, unaware of the tough road ahead. With a heart full of belief but no shortcuts in sight, she jumped straight into her articleship in Ranchi, juggling studies with work. November 2019 saw her clear the intermediate level.
But this journey wasn’t smooth. With no college life and very few social breaks, it was a hard path, but she kept moving forward.
The Toughest Phase: CA Final and Life’s Curveballs
Her 6-month study break for the CA Final was a whirlwind. Memory problems, motivation issues, endless junk food, and self-doubt became daily battles. Then, just before the exams, her sister fell seriously ill. That pushed Sakshi into emotional turmoil.
She turned to her father for support. He didn’t give long lectures. He simply sat beside her and helped her revise, calmly and patiently. That moment became her anchor. Despite all odds, she pushed through. The first exam felt like a disaster, but she didn’t stop. She kept studying and kept showing up. And when the results came, she had passed. First attempt. Impossible for lakhs, but for her, the CA dream was achieved.

But Something Was Missing…
Becoming a CA felt good, but not enough. Sakshi didn’t feel aligned with the corporate lifestyle. She wanted more, something creative, something with impact. That’s when the idea hit her: content creation.
With courage, she left her job to start afresh.
The Birth of ‘Plan Ahead’: From Zero to Millions
Sakshi didn’t rush. She spent two whole months planning her YouTube channel, Plan Ahead. The idea was simple: make finance easy to understand. From SIPs to taxes, budgeting to investing, she broke down complex terms in a way anyone could understand.
At first, people doubted her. But within a few months, her videos started getting noticed. 10,000 subscribers turned into millions of followers within a year.
The response was massive, and so was the impact. Messages included, “You helped me understand money,” “I finally started investing because of you, ” and that was when she knew this was her path.
The Lessons She Swears By
Sakshi’s journey wasn’t an overnight success. Here are the key things she learned, and now shares with anyone dreaming big:
- Set clear goals: Know what you want and go all in.
- Consistency matters: One post won’t change your life. Showing up every day might.
- Build a support system: Family, friends, mentors, they matter more than you think.
- Keep going, even when it gets tough: Failures are not full stops.
- Listen to your audience: They are your biggest teachers.
A Message to All Dreamers
To every girl building her own table, don’t stop.
To every content creator wondering, “Will this work?” keep going.
And to her younger self? Sakshi says, “You were right to dream bold.”
What’s Next?
Sakshi believes this is not the destination. It’s just the beginning. She wants to continue building content that helps people make smarter money choices. With her storytelling skills and financial expertise, she is reshaping the way India sees money. She didn’t have it all figured out; she just believed, started small, and never gave up. And that made all the difference.
