Kaash Plays: The Gaming Queen of India

You don’t even have to be familiar with the Indian gaming scene to stumble across Kaashvi Hiranandani. Didn’t get that? Okay! You got me! Her fans call her Kaash Plays, so let’s talk about her. She’s a powerhouse of entertainment, a role model for gaming creators, and a beautiful woman with so many skills that I lost count. With over a million subscribers on YouTube, Kaash is ruling the gaming niche, stereotypically and traditionally a space that isn’t always welcoming to women.

Why late? Let’s learn about her story, journey, and what shaped her into who she is today!

Who is Kaash Plays?

Kaashvi Hiranandani is a Mumbai-based gaming influencer born on April 28, 1997. At just 27, she’s already a veteran in the gaming war. Her career began in 2020, right in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic. Stuck at home like the rest of us, Kaash picked up Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) and turned her love for gaming into a career.

Her YouTube channel has 1.59 million subscribers. Her growing influence in the Indian gaming ecosystem significantly encourages kids to look at other career options. Something that they might be interested in and want to enjoy doing for the rest of their lives. Apart from gaming, Kaash vlogs and participates in live fun challenges, interacting and keeping her content as diverse as her audience.

And yeah, I almost forgot to type, she’s also part of S8UL, one of India’s top gaming esports organizations. Big deal, right?

Not Just Gaming, Also All That Comes With It

Kaash didn’t just sleep and by the time she woke up, she had a million subscribers. No one can do that; well, some can, but she didn’t get her success like that. Her rise to fame was because of her talent, persistence, and the right collaborations. She’s burnt out and changed close to infinite gamepads with Indian gaming legends like Tanmay Scout Singh, Nishaant Willy Gaming Williams, and Harmandeep Mavi Singh. Her streams are fun to watch and often provide exciting gameplay and her cute banter, making them a hit among players and the gaming world.

Sometimes, it was all fun and games and being a female gamer in a male-dominated field comes with its own set of stereotypes and challenges. Not every viewer of hers likes and encourages what she does. Kaash has tackled many struggles and also proved that skill knows no gender. Her association with 8bit Creatives helped her grow professionally. They offered her a platform to shine in events like Red Bull’s tournaments.

Stats, Streams and Success

Kaash’s gaming stats speak volumes. In BGMI’s Cycle 1 Season 3, she played 335 Classic Battle Royale matches, achieving 31 victories and racking up 1,254 finishes with a Finish/Death (F/D) ratio 3.74. Her highest single-match damage was an impressive 2,139. She’s also known to be the ultimate team player, with 229 revives under one belt.

For those who want to team up (or stalk her stats), her BGMI in-game ID is 5111797650, and her IGN is Kaashū.

Kaash on YouTube

Kaash’s YouTube journey began in May 2020 and has been unstoppable. Find her most-watched videos below. You would have already watched them, but we’ll know we can watch her all day long.

  • Kaash Reacts Episode 1: Guess the Age Challenge – 1.3 Million Views
  • I Made @S8ULSID Become A Standup Comedian !!
  • And recently, If you beat me in BGMI you win INR 5000 – 3.6 Million Views

She also has a vlog channel, Kaashvi, with 198K subscribers. This doesn’t require her to prove anything to anybody, but it shows that her creativity isn’t limited to gaming.

Kaash Plays has also made it through the gaming tech space by collaborating with AMD’s PlaySphere. Her involvement with AMD reveals her influence and craze among the audience.

Beyond YouTube, Kaash Plays has a remarkable presence on social media. Her Instagram handle, kaaashvi, has 1.7 million followers and her Facebook page, Kaash Plays, has 8.5K followers.

She’s an entrepreneur in the making. Her primary income comes from YouTube, with monthly earnings up to $7.6K, according to Social Blade. Let’s not forget her brand collaborations and hosting events; I’m not sure how much, but they add to the current income.

Hobbies and Personality

Kaash doesn’t only like gaming, she loves travelling, creating vlogs and other content, or just being with herself, getting comfy and cosy at home. Her streams reflect her personality: fun and energetic, she feels like the girl in our family. Unsurprisingly, she’s the favourite among young Indian gamers, especially girls in the industry.

Kaashvi Hiranandani’s journey from a hobby in the pandemic to becoming one of India’s most popular female gamers is inspiring. She always reminds herself and us that success comes to those who work hard and stay true to themselves. Whether through her gaming skills, her collaborative spirit or her unfiltered personality, Kaash Plays is here to stay and probably rule.

Cheers to the movement proving that women can dominate any field they set their minds to; the sky is the limit for our gaming queen.
