Clicks' iPhone Case with Built-in Keyboard - A Game-Changer for Content Creators

In a world where content creation is king, Clicks Technology has emerged as a trailblazer with its latest innovation – an iPhone case equipped with a built-in keyboard, specially designed for creators. Priced at $139, the Clicks case is set to transform the way content is crafted on iPhones, offering a tactile and precise typing experience that’s reminiscent of physical keyboards, reports Verge.

Michael Fisher and Kevin Michaluk, the brains behind Clicks, envision a future where creators no longer have to compromise on screen real estate due to cumbersome on-screen keyboards. Fisher, also known as MrMobile, expressed his surprise at the omission of hardware keys in smartphones, stating, “Clicks brings the tactility and precision of a physical keyboard to iPhone, so people don’t have to wait until they get back to their desks to create or communicate with the satisfying feedback only real buttons can provide.”

The Clicks case, available in bumblebee (yellow) and London sky (a grayish-blue), seamlessly connects to your iPhone, much like a Backbone controller. Slide your phone in, align the power port with the USB-C or Lightning connector, and snap the case around the top – no Bluetooth or battery required. Drawing power directly from the phone, the case supports pass-through fast charging on the iPhone 15 Pro.

But Clicks doesn’t stop there. The company promises continuous improvement through a companion app soon to be available on the Apple App Store. This app will introduce new functionalities to the keyboard over time, enhancing the overall user experience. Early adopters are in for a treat, as the first buyers will receive “Founders Editions” with VIP support and early access to new color options.

What sets Clicks apart is its team of experts, boasting former employees from tech giants like Apple, BlackBerry, and Google. The case doesn’t just replicate the feel of a keyboard but includes features familiar to computer users, such as a backlight and even a CMD key for iOS keyboard shortcuts. Fisher explained, “It’s kind of odd that smartphones abandoned hardware keys when creators use keyboards on laptops and other devices.” The Clicks case aims to bridge this gap, offering creators the tools they need to immerse themselves fully in apps and content without sacrificing valuable screen real estate.

Clicks will showcase its groundbreaking case at CES next week, and pre-orders are already underway. With the iPhone 14 Pro version shipping on February 1st and the 15 Pro version following in mid-March, Clicks is poised to revolutionize the world of mobile content creation. Stay tuned for a future where creators can unleash their full potential with the Clicks iPhone case – a true game-changer in the world of tech innovation.
