In her video, Aadhya argues that many Moonshot advertisements appear to follow a similar creative framework. Using a recent Hocco campaign as an example, she explained that the ads often begin with a simple and relatable situation before introducing something completely absurd. The absurdity then continues to escalate through increasingly bizarre scenarios before a product feature is finally revealed and connected to everything that happened earlier.

In the Hocco advertisement, a mother informs the family that her son’s exam results have arrived. Soon after, the father is shown licking the report card. As the advertisement progresses, he begins licking increasingly random objects, including shoes and soap. Towards the end, the audience discovers that he enjoyed Hocco’s ice cream so much that he now believes everything around him is ice cream. According to Aadhya, the humour comes from the escalating absurdity, while the product explanation arrives only at the end.
