The Great Indian Kapil Show Spreads Laughter But With Jaw-Dropping Fees Charged By The Cast

Netflix’s The Great Indian Kapil Show takes viewers on a laughter ride but costs a bomb to film. Reportedly, the comedian-host Kapil Sharma has charged a whopping amount for the five episodes aired so far.

Not only has Kapil’s pay for the show been reportedly revealed, but the new report has also revealed his co-stars Archana Puran Singh and Sunil Grover’s fees for the show.

Kapil Sharma’s Remuneration

According to a report by Zee Hindustan and quoted by DNA India, Kapil Sharma has allegedly charged an astounding amount of Rs 26 crore for five episodes. That’s a little over Rs 5 crores per episode. The report also suggests Sunil Grover, who reunited with Kapil after their seven years of fallout, is charging a shocking Rs 25 lakh per episode.

The report also claimed that Archana Puran Singh, who usually sits between the audience, is getting paid Rs 10 lakhs per episode. Meanwhile, Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, and Rajiv Thakur are being paid Rs 10 lakh, Rs 7 lakh, and Rs 6 lakh, respectively, as per the report. However, there is no confirmation by the actors or makers so far.
