Rohit Bose Brings Back The Dhoti With Style

Content Creator Rohit Bose, who is well-known for his hair care routines and unique dhoti styling tips, is quite popular on Instagram, and often shares various ways to drape and wear a dhoti, blending traditional and modern styles to make it accessible and fashionable.

The dhoti is a traditional sartorial worn by men in India. It can be worn in different styles depending on the occasion, and preference. The dhoti is usually paired with a kurta however in modern fashion, dhotis have been adapted and styled in contemporary ways.  

Dhoti’s have never been out of fashion and can styled in various ways. Take a look how Rohit drapes and styles dhoti for different occasions!

Rohit often styles dhoti twining with his mother. In this video, Rohit and his mother are twining in a blue block print saree. While his mom drapes the saree, Rohit converts the saree by draping it as a dhoti.

In another video, Rohit showcases beautifully how the styling of Dhoti’s evolved over the century.

Rohit recently shared a video where he dressed like Ram, taking inspiration from Ranbir Kapoor’s look from his forthcoming mythological film Ramayan. Followers have applauded him for his draping talent and for having a great physique.

Usually, he drapes a dhoti using a saree but on public demand, he showed how one can drape a dhoti with the help of a dupatta.

After Isha Borah’s floral organza saree video went viral, Rohit decided to convert that saree into a dhoti. We simply love how he paired the dhoti with the sequence kurta, giving it a chic look.  

And finally, in this video, Rohit has taken all his mom’s sarees and styled them in his way.
