Myntra has unveiled the second edition of the Creator Fest, scheduled for December 7th, leading up to the platform’s flagship End of Reason Sale (EORS-19). This event will mark the debut of the Myntra Glammys powered by Grazia, an anticipated awards ceremony celebrating creators in the digital space for their compelling content contributions.
Emphasizing unique self-expression through fashion, the nominations showcase the country’s most popular creators in fashion, beauty, and lifestyle. The Creator Fest promises various engaging activities, including themed fashion shows previewing 2024’s trends, a captivating musical performance by Monica Dogra, and a meet-and-greet session with renowned creators and celebrities. Popular creators and celebrities like Dolly Singh, Naina Bhan, Aashna Shroff, Orry and Malini Agarwal will be attending this year.
The event will also feature experiential brand zones from sought-after fashion and beauty brands and Snapchat’s AR mirror, enhancing attendees’ experiences with fashionable and beauty filters. Over the years, Myntra has solidified its position as an industry leader, making global trends accessible to fashion-forward consumers in India.
The Creator Fest aligns with Myntra’s mission to celebrate digital trendsetters, recognizing their significant contributions to showcasing consumer-led fashion in innovative ways, particularly to the younger demographic. The event will include three dynamic fashion shows showcasing upcoming trends in Gen Z fashion, premium fusion, and western wear.
Honoring key players in the Creator Ecosystem, the Myntra Glammys, powered by Grazia, will feature diverse award categories reflecting the content creation landscape in fashion and beauty. With an illustrious judging panel, including industry experts and creators, the awards highlight excellence in fashion representation, content creation, and audience engagement.
Myntra’s collaboration with creators is a vital component of its marketing strategy, with over 85,000 pieces of compelling content generated by creators in the previous year. The platform plans to expand its network of social media stars, including Gen Z nano and micro creators and campus ambassadors. Myntra’s influence extends to younger and non-metro audiences, fostering engagement through content curation in local languages, resulting in a substantial increase in engagement compared to other demographics.
