Amazon’s Top Influencers Selected for Exclusive Elevate Program Perks

Amazon India has unveiled the Elevate Program as part of its broader influencer strategy. This program was introduced to strengthen Amazon’s creator economy by providing handpicked influencers with tools and incentives to grow their performance and impact.

Amazon’s New Move to Empower Top Creators

Amazon has chosen a set of top-performing creators from its 60,000-strong influencer network to receive exclusive offerings. These include enhanced account support through dedicated managers, early access to brand partnerships, higher earning potential through increased commissions, and visibility via Amazon Live. Amazon has also granted selected participants access to its professional content production studios.

Exclusive Perks: Commissions, Studios, and Brand Access

Amazon has promised eligible creators a potential commission increase of up to 3–5 times based on performance, reinforcing its commitment to empowering digital storytellers. Amazon has identified the content-to-commerce loop as a key growth area, particularly as younger users shift away from traditional media.

Zahid Khan, Director of Shopping Initiatives for India and Emerging Markets at Amazon, stated that the shift in content consumption among younger audiences has significantly impacted where brands spend their marketing budgets. Traditional media is reportedly losing ground to digital creators, prompting platforms like Amazon to invest heavily in this space.

The Rising Power of Creators in Shaping Commerce

This announcement follows Amazon’s previous efforts to support content creators. Amazon launched Amazon Live in 2022 as a live shopping format and introduced Creator Central in 2023 to streamline content production.

Competition Heats Up in the Influencer Commerce Space

Industry observers have noted that Amazon is not alone in its ambitions. Meesho, a competing platform, has recently launched its own influencer-driven marketplace, signalling broader interest across the sector in creator-led commerce.
