Mom-fluencer Prerna Sinha Is Sharing A Fresh Take On Motherhood In The 21st Century
The new-gen motherhood balances parenting, passions and individuality with a refreshing outlook.
Prerna Sinha is the face behind Maa Of All Blogs. Her story resonates with every Indian mom who dreams of an identity for themselves while taking care of their family. A story to learn on how motherhood evolved from being a traditional role to one with modern complexities and bravery.
In the past, mothers were always silent anchors of their families, dedicating their lives to household duties, sacrificing their own interests more often than not. Previously, mothers focused only on ingraining values and maintaining stability, while modern moms prioritised individuality and mental health. How It Began? Before Blogging Was Cool
Prerna’s journey is not just about parenting tips but celebrating motherhood without losing the woman within. Prerna first dipped her toes into blogging in 2007 when she became a first-time mom. She remained solitary and jobless while caring for her one-year-old and started writing to be mentally active. Her blogs consist of relatable mommy advice and realisations, which were soon forwarded over emails among her friends.
Eventually, she stopped blogging in 2008 and started working, but life had other plans. By 2012, she was back with three blogs.

However, she had to overwork and exhaustion to manage them separately, so she merged them into one in 2013, to Maa Of All Blogs. In one of her posts, she mentions that it is a mix of fun and memorable content. “It’s out-of-the-box, and people remember it instantly.”

Prerna stands out in the crowded parenting space because of her unique perspective. Her tagline, Let’s take it beyond motherhood, clearly defines her approach. While most moms focus on parenting, she speaks more from the mother’s perspective as an individual. As I said earlier, her work reminds us that a mother is a woman first, with her own dreams and aspirations.
Her posts cover parenting, travel, fitness, beauty, fashion, and mother-shopping needs. Fitness is a central theme. In a post, she says, “A fit mom means a fit family.” From yoga to hiking, her lifestyle pushes mothers to think about and prioritise their health and happiness.
How relevant is her content in changing times?
The digital landscape has changed significantly since she started. Earlier, simple blogs were her primary focus, and social media was just a way to share them. Now, it’s the opposite. With attention spans shrinking, she keeps up with reels, stories and posts on every platform. Overlooking the challenges, she keeps writing to be motivated. Her process involves brainstorming with her team, creating relatable content and balancing brand collaborations with authenticity.
Speaking of brands, Prerna mastered the art of subtle integrations. She never let sponsored content overpower her content. Her refusal to compromise on quality and content led to disagreements with numerous brands, but she firmly believes that her content is king. (Here, she prefers queen, maybe!)
Struggles, Successes and Everything In Between and Beyond!
What could be the most rewarding part of her journey? She feels like a blessing when people get inspired by her writing. One time, an article she wrote about reintroducing moral science in schools caught widespread attention. A school principal shared it with her staff, and a teacher even asked for her advice. It made her realise how impactful words can be.
Of course, no journey can be without challenges; even kids born with golden spoons have their own issues. Managing time as a full-time content creator and being a mom could be tricky, especially regarding kids and their studies.
Her kids love being part of their mom’s journey. They model for brands and even contribute creative ideas. They definitely make the most of it. However, Prerna is careful about maintaining boundaries and avoiding overexposure to social media, as she ensures their studies remain the priority.
For any mom or in general, anyone dreaming of being a content creator, Prerna often shares three golden rules:
Be consistent – Many start enthusiastically but give up too soon.
Be authentic – Keep your content original; heartfelt stories will always stand out.
Be dedicated – Treat content creation as a full-time job if you want to see yourself somewhere high.
She always credits her readers and friends for being her constant source of encouragement. Whenever she felt like giving up, they pushed her to keep going.
Personal Life and Behind the Creator Scenes
Prerna is a certified yoga teacher, a traveller and a fitness enthusiast. Her day starts at 6 AM with school prep for her kids, followed by a yoga session or a short run. From brainstorming content with her team to managing her household, her schedule is neck-packed until bedtime. Even on her busiest days, she manages to carve out time for family and a bit of reading before she calls it a day.
Ordinary Roots with Extraordinary Branches
Prerna’s achievements include being listed among India’s top parenting content creators and collaborating with over 50 brands. She’s also ventured into fitness programs, such as the successful #FlabToFabWithMOAB initiative, and hopes to launch a social initiative soon.
